Dr. Karen DeSimone is a board-certified specialist in orthodontics. She established DeSimone Orthodontics in Pennington, New Jersey in 1994.  The Guide to Consumer's Research Council of America  selected DeSimone Orthodontics as one of "America's Top Orthodontic Offices."

At Brown University Dr. DeSimone earned undergraduate degrees in biology and theater. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Georgetown University Dental School and was presented with The Miriam DiRisi Award for Clinical Excellence in Dentistry. In 1989 Dr. DeSimone was inducted into The National Dental Honor Society.

Dr. DeSimone completed her post-doctoral orthodontic residency at Howard University Dental School in Washington, DC. An abstract of her research on facial syndromes was published in The American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.

Dr. DeSimone is a clinical instructor of orthodontics in the post-doctoral residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia.  She is also an active member in several professional organizations including The American Association of Orthodontists,  American Board of Orthodontists, New Jersey Association of Orthodontists, Middle Atlantic Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, and Mercer County Dental Society.
